Find your compass in the career jungle!

Are you interested in technology, but still unsure whether a technical trade is for you? And if so, which one? The list of metal and electronics professions is long and the confusion in your head is great. The Berufswahl-Kompass Metall (BWK) is a cooperation project between Südwestmetall, the Federal Employment Agency and regional companies and schools and offers you a great orientation aid. For a whole year, you can get to know various technical professions and companies at first hand in numerous practical afternoons. You will also be supervised by the companies' trainees and can talk to them about their experiences in a relaxed manner - at eye level, honestly and directly. The project is coordinated and supervised by BBQ and is aimed at secondary school students from the Konrad-Adenauer-Realschule in Pforzheim, the Willy-Brandt-Realschule in Königsbach-Stein and the Carl-Dittler-Realschule in Remchingen. Places are limited - register via your school and find your way!

School meets the world of work - practical support for starting a career

The transition phase from school to work is one of the most important in the lives of pupils. In order to make this step easier, we would like to support schools in providing concrete and practical career guidance. We offer various formats to help pupils prepare for their career entry in the best possible way.

Company tour with presentation of apprenticeships/DH degree courses: Let your class take a look behind the scenes of our company and find out what opportunities for apprenticeships + DH degree courses are on offer.
Applicant training: Together with us, your students will practise how to apply correctly - from the letter of application to the interview
Lecture: We give your students numerous tips on the career orientation and application process - compact and with a lot of practical experience
Long-term school cooperation: We are also happy to look into a permanent partnership with your school in order to promote long-term and sustainable career guidance.
